The whole dashboard can be divided into several subjects which can be further divided into a number of teachers teaching them. The dashboard is also divided into three tabs, Stream, Classwork and People (We'll discuss these tabs later in the post).

Google Classroom is a totally free platform. Each and every service provided on this platform is free of cost. Many applications today, cost decent amount of money for the services which resemble Google Classroom's services.

Google Classroom has a very simple working. Its working can be understood by all. It tries to provide all services in the most simple form no matter how complex the working of the service is.

How to download and use Google Classroom

You can download the Google Classroom app from either Play Store by clicking on this link Download Google Classroom for Android or from Apple App Store Download Google Classroom for iOS .
Or, you can use it on your computer by clicking on this link Google Classroom website.
On opening Google Classroom a blank dashboard will appear. You'll see a plus symbol on top right corner.

When click on that button two options will appear Join class and Create class. If you have got a code form your school you can click on Join class or else click on Create class.

After you enter the code got from your school, all categories, subjects or classes created by your institution.

Or if you create a new class you can either get a G Suite for education or create a simple class. G suite equips the user or institution with a kit of powerful tools, which would help you to run your class successfully.

On opening any class or subject all lecture videos or assignments posted by the host or the teacher or your classmates will appear.

You are also provided with tree tabs which are Stream, Classwork and People.

Stream- This tab will be opened by default when you click on any category or subject and will contain all the work and messages posted by your teacher or classmates.

Classwork- This will contain all the work or assignment posted by your teacher. This will help you to sum up all your work at one place and will prevent you from forgetting any work.

People- This tab will provide you with all the names of your classmates and the teacher.

You can also turn off or on the facility of email notification by changing it in the settings. This facility is by default turned on. This facility is really helpful as it prevents you from missing any new work or lecture video posted by your teacher.
